Perceptorship programme

KSS Education Programmes

As a network education team we work closely with clinical Practise educators to ensure each and every member of staff is supported. We work in close collaboration with other networks to share good practices. Our vision is to Empower neonatal staff to acquire knowledge and skills to provide excellent health care.

Preceptorship Programme (INFuSE): This programme is for everyone who is new to neonates or want to refresh their knowledge. It consists of 8 education days with abundant resources to support learning on Moodle.

International Culture and communication (ICC) Programme: This programme is for all international neonatal professionals to support with culture adaptation and communication skills. It’s a 3 day programme and offers a safe space for learners to reflect on their practise.

Other courses:

FINE (Family and infant Neurodevelopmental education): KSS network has supported aver 80 staff to access FINE level 1 training.

BFI courses: Staff within KSS network are able to access Train the trainer and Embedding Baby friendly standards courses.

Bereavement course: network has funded for about 200 places for bereavement training for all staff working in neonatal units.

Compassionate Leadership courses: KSS Staff can access to this course to raise awareness about compassion in health and care system(Founded on the book by Professor Michael A. West)
