Physiotherapy Lead

What do you do?

I am the Lead Physiotherapist for the network and work clinically as a Neonatal Physiotherapist at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.  I am also on the National Neonatal Physiotherapy Committee.

As Lead Physiotherapist for the Network it is my role to support the physiotherapist’s in post, grow and develop the Physiotherapy workforce and enhance and advance clinical care through education and training and producing robust clinical guidelines.

What do you want to achieve?

I would like to achieve an equitable Physiotherapy service across the network with sufficient staff to achieve an embedded model of care.  I would like interdisciplinary working to be the core model of practice and for staff to be fully supported in their roles and experience job satisfaction.
