Lead Care Co-ordinator

Job description: Work to promote a philosophy of family integrated care across the network and ensure this is embedded in every neonatal unit. In collaboration with local leads and teams, support the development of family integrated care to maximise parental involvement in the care of their baby during inpatient stays.

What I would like to achieve: Ensure all families who have sick or premature infants being cared for across KSS network are supported in their journey through neonatal services.

This will be achieved through co-production and collaboration with service users and care providers, fostering a culture where family integrated care is embedded in everyday practice so that parents and families are at the heart of, and fully involved in their baby’s care.
