Network Manager/Lead Nurse

What do you do?

I have worked as a neonatal nurse for the majority of my professional career. My role as lead nurse involves having leadership and management responsibilities for effective network collaboration between nursing colleagues. I also lead on the development and delivery of nursing improvement projects in relation to nursing services and am responsible for workforce development across the network.

What would you like to achieve?

I would love to see neonatal services becoming more visible in our NHS, the work of the network has already enabled this to happen in many ways but we have much more work to do. We have brilliant engagement of staff in all of our units and with the inclusion of families in planning our services, things are developing to ensure the care we provide to be more holistic for our families.
