Our Baby Steps: Our Neonatal Journey cards project has been nominated for the NHS Excellence Awards 2026 in the Patient Involvement and Choice category — and this week we were announced as one of just 7 Regional Champions!
Chosen from over 2,500 nominations, this recognition means so much to everyone involved. The project has truly been a labour of love, created through the dedication of the Neonatal Networks and Parent Advisory Groups across Kent, Surrey & Sussex and Thames Valley & Wessex
Designed with families, for families, the Baby Steps cards continue to receive wonderful feedback from those who use them — which is exactly why this project exists.
The NHS Excellence Awards take place on 10 June 2026 in Manchester, where the overall winners will be announced. Fingers crossed!
