What do you do?
I am a Consultant Neonatologist in University Hospital Southampton (UHS) since 2003. I am currently the TVW Neonatal ODN Clinical Lead, appointed as the Wessex Clinical Lead in 2012. I am the UHS Neonatal Mortality, Risk and Patient Safety Lead and a Clinical member of the Neonatal Intensive Care Clinical Reference Group CRG NHS England since 2019.
What would you like to achieve?
I provide clinical medical leadership to the ODN championing high quality neonatal services across the Network with a focus on governance, patient safety and quality, improving patient care pathways in line with national standards, supporting the neonatal critical care transformation and ODN work programmes of care.
