What do you do?
As a neonatal parent I aim to reach out to other parents to collectively share our experiences to help inform neonatal transformation with lived experience at the core of all that we do as a neonatal network. The parent advisory group work alongside the Network team in every workstream and ensure our experiences are shared in meetings and training for all staff so that the family experience is not assumed but fully heard.
What would you like to achieve?
I have been volunteering for many years and it is a privilege to now be part of the Network team helping to improve experiences for neonatal parents. It is equally a privilege to be working with so many inspirational parents wanting to improve experiences for future families. There is so much strength and determination and it is a truly lovely volunteering group to be part of.
